As adults, we demonstrate our commitment to God and each other in many ways. See the "Outreach" page for information about ways to serve others.
Small groups are a good way to connect, learn and socialize. Each small group comprised of individuals or couples who study God's word, socialize and serve together. Each group is unique. There are groups of men, women, couples, individuals, etc. Curriculum is usually determined by the group members. We are hopeful you will be able to find a group that fits your interests and personal situation.
In 2017, we have all enjoyed our Right Now Media subscription to over 14,000 video titles as a resource for growth and study.
Our Fall 2017 church-wide study Emotionally Healthy Spirituality by Pete & Geri Scazzero.
Deerbrook Women Ministries provides a variety of opportunities for women ranging from yearly week-end conferences, Bible studies and one-on-one mentoring programs. We are excited about our monthly IF:Table gatherings, where women share a meal and share their story.
Our connections for men come in a variety of ways including meals together, work projects, Royals games, mountain hikes and small groups studies. The goal of our programs for men is to equip them for life. Several small group Bible studies of men meet regularly (Wed AM, Fri AM, various) for fellowship and Bible study. We have a strong tradition of using the Authentic Manhood and Men of Impact series (see below).
Angels Of Mercy Ministry
There is a fabulous group of servants who love the people of our congregation. They find many ways to serve Deerbrook Covenant Church and to assure our church family is encouraged and cared for in time of need.
If you are someone you know are in need, e-mail our team at firstname.lastname@example.org
Each and every Wednesday, our entire body is invited as we share in supper at 5:45 pm.
Our congregation is challenged to BLESS their neighborhoods reaching their neighbors. We are encouraged to begin with prayer, listen with car, eat together, serve with love and share the good news.
Our congregation has sent over 100 people to spend a week at YMCA of the Rockies in 2015 & 2017. It is a fabulous time to connect with each other and the adventure of beautiful Estes Park, Colorado.
Men's groups meet weekly at various times during the year. (Tuesdays, Wednesday & Fridays mornings) Contact Mark Wissel (email@example.com) for information about meeting times, etc.
The Quest for Authentic Manhood is the foundation or ground floor of manhood. This 24-session study focuses on a man's core identity and gives an overview of basic manhood issues. It will help men deal with various identity issues by looking back at past wounds and other things that may have distorted their idea of biblical masculinity. Throughout the course of the study, men will learn how to clearly define manhood and will finally be able to give a succinct and passionate answer to the questions, "What is a man?" and "What am I living to be?"
This course is suitable for the new believer, the not-yet believer, or the maturing believer.
This captivating journey helps men:
• Resolve wounds from their past
• Embrace a biblical definition of manhood
• Develop their own personal manhood plan
Men of Impact Series
If you are a man who wants to know what is means to be a maturing Christian or isn’t sure how to take the next step towards that goal, this course may be just what you need. This course is designed to provide men of Deerbrook the opportunity to become lifelong, maturing apprentices of Christ by practicing three critical pursuits; knowing Christ deeply, reflecting Christ authentically, and sharing Christ intentionally.
Men who are part of this series meet weekly in small group Forums of 3-4 men. Each Forum establishes their own time and location.
