We love kids and their families at Deerbrook!
The children's ministry at Deerbrook strives to be a place where kids can have fun being with friends and grow up in their friendship with Jesus! We want to partner with parents as they cultivate their children’s healthy spiritual development.
Sunday mornings
Kids, infants-6th grade, meet in age-related groups to be led by screened volunteers. These volunteers guide interactive activities, teaching the Bible, which help kids participate in God’s story everyday.
Sunday morning check in:
In the lobby, kids check in to their class and receive a nametag. Infants and Preschool age children are welcome to join their class upon arrival. Elementary age kids attend the worship service with their parents until classes begin. Children are invited to their classes typically just before the start of the sermon.
*The first Sunday of each month is Family Sunday. The Elementary children worship with their families for the duration of service. We also celebrate Communion on this Sunday.
Adventure:
During the school year, elementary and preschool kids meet on Wednesday evenings (6:30-7:30 pm) to keep learning and growing together in our spiritual journey.
